How it all began

Rosa’s passion about all things chocolate began back in 2008 when she decided to learn more about the art of chocolate making and enrolled in a professional chocolate program. 

 After completing her program, she started making chocolates during the holidays and special occasions for friends and family. She liked infusing flavors from her upbringing such as passion fruit and dulce de leche. She continued playing and practicing with chocolate until mastering her recipes as well as different decoration techniques. 

Rosa also worked at a high-end French chocolate boutique in Boston where she gained experience about attention to detail and quality standards and completed her master’s degree in small business and entrepreneurship. 


Combining her knowledge and passion about chocolate making, Ducao Chocolates was born in the Fall of 2017.
